In service to you

We are social beings that are wired for connection. A purposeful life informed by values drives change in your life or organization.

Wired for connection

We are social beings. We need to talk to other humans, and not a computer. Sometimes, we just need another person to listen to us without judgement and help us brainstorm how to make it through the hard times. Transformation rarely happens overnight or in isolation. Sometimes what is needed is space to reconnect with those parts of ourselves, tend to what has been neglected, and intentionally cultivate what we want to grow. Whether you are navigating a transition, exploring new possibilities, or seeking greater alignment in your life, I am honored to walk alongside you as you discover what is ready to take root.

Values-based engagement

In the spirit of restorative practices, I believe every person already carries wisdom, strengths, and possibilities within them. It takes time to dig into that with never ending ebbs and flows of failure, progress, distress, joy, etc. Having a plan to get us through the cycle of ups and downs can help cultivate an ability to believe and rely on ourselves to get us through life. But, much like the Mayan approach to farming, we need to cultivate our ability to grow and flourish. Each cycle of life may look and feel different, but we can build a foundation that helps us for years to come.

About me

Detroit, MI.

I am a second-generation Hispanic man, a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, and someone whose life has been shaped by my education, work experience, and personal growth. I live in my brain, which, let's be honest, can be a scary place at times. That internal monologue has taught me so much about myself, and has been my motivator for learning how to move from thought to behaviors.

I live in Detroit, Michigan, with my husband of almost 15 years and our amazing furry (dogs and cat) children. I went to school to be a pilot, but quickly learned that aviation should've been a hobby and not a career. In my mid 30s I pivoted to a macro social work career path. Personally,  I love to spend time in the gym. I am a life-long learner who is always thinking of the next thing I need to learn about. And, I dream of once again being in a state will more sun - I'm originally from Phoenix.
